Our Story

Afrikrea was created in 2016 with one mission in mind: bridge Africa and the World.

Coming from Mali and Guinea, our co-founders: Moulaye Tabouré, Kadry Diallo and Luc B. Perussault-Diallo all share a common love for Africa and wanted to make Made of Africa products accessible to a wider audience . Moreover, they were dreaming of building a place which would promote financial empowerment for African women through fashion, crafts, arts and culture.

This is how was born.

Moulaye TABOURE 🇫🇷🇲🇱🇨🇮, a.k.a. Kal-El
Co-founder & CEO

After growing up in Mali and working all over the world for companies like PwC or Alstom, Moulaye dedicates today his experience to African culture. Thanks to that, now processes 10M$ + of transactions in 150+ countries.

Obsessed with service and operational excellence, Moulaye is convinced that distribution through the web is the key to Africa's future.

Abdoul Kadry DIALLO 🇫🇷🇲🇱🇨🇮, a.k.a. Mugiwara
Co-founder & CMO

Passionate about entrepreneurship, Kadry grows to realize how untapped African wealth is and how frustrating it is for its aficionados.

Having grown up between Mali and France, he is heading towards a career in corporate finance, and obtains his Master 2 in Management, Control and Organizational Audit from the University of Paris-Saclay. He eventually embraced a career as an engineer in industrial project management, where he held positions in large groups such as Renault.SA, Siemens Transportation Systems, and EDF.

In 2013, with his childhood friend Moulaye, they decided to unveil African talents by creating Afrikrea.

In 2015, he gave up his job as a project planner to devote himself entirely to their start-up. The team grew with the arrival of Luc and in 2016, the Afrikrea e-commerce platform, which enabled more than 7,000 sellers to carry out more than 10 million euros in transactions, was created.

Luc Boubakar PERUSSAULT-DIALLO 🇫🇷🇲🇱🇨🇮, aka Star Lord
Co-founder & CTO

Passionate about challenges and a born builder, this former navy decided to devote himself to the world of technologies and start-ups in 1999.

With more than 20 years of expertise and after the success of the high traffic marketplace (1K transactions/day, 2M visits/month) that he created, Luc decides to put his talent and energy to work for the development of African entrepreneurship. In 2016, he decided to join Kadry and Moulaye to jointly build the leader of African fashion online.

After spending years around the world from the South Pacific, to the United States and France, this proud Fulani found his roots in Grand-Bassam, Ivory Coast, where he lives with his 3 children.

Guillaume DARNAUDET 🇫🇷🇲🇱🇨🇮, aka Deadpool

Raised between Gabon and France and after getting his Master’s degree in Finance at the Skema Business School in Paris, Guillaume decides to start expatriation in Africa.

He spends 6 years working on infrastructure projects all over the continent, handling finances for multi-million euros projects for subsidiaries of VINCI or RAZEL.

As thorough as curious, Guillaume joins the Afrikrea venture as CFO after being an investor at first. He is now delivering unique payment and logistics solutions all over the world and in all African countries.

He is the pillar of Afrikrea’s 20 people team over 4 different continents whose ambition is to build the global infrastructure needed to the economic development of African culture.
